Description
Winter months—and holidays like Valentine’s Day—can be especially difficult for senior citizens who may feel isolated, lonely, or are grieving the loss of a spouse, partner, friends, or family members. This free Valentine’s Card Making Event is designed to offer a welcoming space for connection, creativity, and companionship.
The community is invited to join us for a relaxed and supportive evening of card making, conversation, and community. Participants will create handmade Valentine’s cards to share with Sarah Ketter of Senior Helpers who will then distribute them on February 13th to our local senior living facilities—spreading kindness while enjoying meaningful social interaction.
No crafting experience is needed, and all supplies will be provided. Most importantly, this event is about being together, sharing stories, and reminding one another that no one is alone—especially during the winter months.
