DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Lacey South Sound Chamber and the Lacey Loves to Read committee\, we're excited to announce the dates for Read Around Lacey 2020: February 3rd - 16th.\n\n\n\nLacey Loves to Read is an annual community literacy program designed to bring multi-generational groups together as they read the works of a bestselling author.\n\n\n\nThis unique partnership between North Thurston Public Schools\, the City of Lacey\, Timberland Regional Lacey\, and Lacey Chamber will celebrate its 17th year in February 2020 with multi-award winning and New York Times Best Selling author Sharon M. Draper.\n\n\n\nTo engage our students and community around real-life literacy applications\, the Lacey Chamber invites your business and employees to participate in Read Around Lacey for students in North Thurston Public Schools as well as homeschooling and private school students in the Lacey area. \n\n\n\nOur ultimate goal is to get everyone in Lacey reading and talking about the author's books as one community!
